We arrived at our hotel really quickly from the airport only about 15 minute drive to the beautiful Shangri La Tanjung Aru.

 

 

Have been in the pool lots today as we are just chilling and relaxing today.

 

The lounge bar is a wonderful open air area with lots of ceiling fans and huge floor to ceiling open windows, the staff again are gorgeous and sooooo friendly and happy.

 

Its a lovely place for a cocktail or two especially at happy hour when they are two 4 one.

 

And the banana chips which come with every round are just delicious, not sweet but like potato chips but much more delicious and slightly salted.

 

When we got back to our room they had decorated our room for our anniversary

so sweet of them for us old wrinklies, we didn't want to spoil it.

 

and roses too and they paid for our first meal!!
