Penang's Chinatown and Little India with funny signs and great wall art

Our second night on Penang and we ate at The Living Room, it was a lovely meal and we met Amya the owner, I had prawns and Bob had Beef Rendang.

Some of the sign post in Penang made us laugh this guy was the king of textiles!!

We had some vegetable samosas from this stall and they were the best we had ever tasted, light and delicious

There was loads of this art work all over Chinatown and Little India they were quite funny

The temple were lovely and so beautifully decorated

Along the roadside were stalls selling offerings for people to take into the temple

Without knowing it we chose to eat at the best indian restaurant in Little India.  I had Mutton Rogan Josh and Bob had Mutton Biryani, the food was again out of this world and we shared a Naan.

If you lived locally you could have it delivered in style!!

Another funny sign - doesn't exactly entice you to go in if it's cooked by a load of CiliBilis!!

We are not sure what this building was but it seemed to be some kind of official building.

Trust me to find the local Firemen!!

Another gorgeous Chinese building, we couldn't go in as they were working on it.

This artwork was on the garden wall of the house above

This gentleman was playing a Chinese instrument as we walked around his shop

 More fascinating artwork.
